Now you may order the cd directly from the shop at our record-label website www.termorecords.com.
Got the first copies of the debut album today. So the release date in Norway is June 11th. We’ll get back to the international dates, which are some weeks later.
We’re still waiting for some paper-stuff from Brønnøysund-registeret before we can open the shop on the termo-website, www.termorecords.com
It’s now decided that In Lingua Mortua’s first album “bellowing sea – racked by tempest” will be released by Termo Records. It will be released as soon as possible, most likely just over new-year. Go here for more info: www.termorecords.com or www.myspace.com/termorecords
I’ve just returned from Strype Audio, where the record was mastered today by Tom Kvålsvoll. He did a fenomenal job and it sounds really good!
I woke up, found my car trashed and some studio stuff stolen.. But it’s all ok now as I just got the cover design from Kim which turned out fantastic.
Kim Sølve from www.trineogkim.no is currently working on the album cover/artwork of “Bellowing Sea – Racked by Tempest.”
I’m currently working with the material for a second album. It’s looking (and hearing) good, but it still requires lots of work.. Think Universe Zero meets The Clash meets Buddy Rich meets Dark Throne on speed or something. Much of it is over four years old, - as always i’m always behind schedule because of limited time, money, and so on.. The good thing about being so slow is that only the best material remains in the end. I spend much of my time listening through the hundreds of riffs i’ve made for this new album and squeeese out the best, shake away the weakest. On this album i started using a new aproach of writing material. I would make or program riff by riff like automatic writing in the old Dada way without thinking of composition. So that’s where i’m now, – at the composition part.. Perhaps the trickiest part for me – at least with the basis of these songs. While i can enjoy those lineaer songs, it can sometimes be a bit too much. In this case I believe you’d go mad with an entire album full of such songs.
Also i’m thinking of releasing a limited vinyl edition of the first album, “Bellowing Sea – Racked by Tempest”, but first i have to finish the artwork for it.
The guestbook is finally up. So i guess this site is all done. Good.
Ok.. So since this site is under construction and it’s taking too long, I made an myspace account: www.myspace.com/inlinguamortua.
